Cops get stricter in Hyderabad
As the city entered the 14th day of lockdown, the police continued to strictly enforce restrictions across the city. Though the roads were busy with vehicles and people during the four-hour relaxation period, post 10 am, barricades were set up on the roads and policing increased in the residential colonies.
hundreds of citizens were seen thronging on the roads to buy groceries, vegetables and essentials. Most shops were packed with people and witnessed heavy traffic jams at Kachiguda, Narayanguda, Charminar, Miyapur, Nampally, Ameerpet and Secunderabad Railway station road.
Apart from few junctions, post 10 am, all the roads in the city wore a deserted look. those found violating the lockdown rules and roaming on roads unnecessarily were detained and their vehicles seized.
